Fiber Optic Distribution Box W8

FTTH-W8 is a butt type gel sealed fiber optic splicing and patching closure designed for the Fiber

Access Point in the FTTx network.

The closure can be deployed on walls, poles and in hand holes. FTTH-W8 has 4 main cable ports

and 8 drop cable ports. Loop storage of 6m loose tubes allows 2 main cables loop through at the

same time. The closure accommodates up to 24 fusion splices (or 8 mechanical splices), two PLC

splitters and 8 SC adapters.

Sealing is achieved via built-in gel technology, resulting in extremely convenient re-entry and

re-sealing.

1. Wall-mounted installation

Drill 4 holes into the wall based on the size in table 1, place the expansion bolt Φ7.5*40, place the box to match up the holes and use bolt to fasten.

2. Pole-mounted installation

Fix 1 set of the pole ring to the telecom pole, as below

• Transport: cars, trains, ships and aircraft
• Transportation to avoid collisions, falls, rain and snow poured directly attack and daylight exposure.
